LotusCottages.com is conveniently located within walking distance to the San Diego MTS.

The Eastbound 35 bus connects with the Southbound Trolley at the Old Towne Trolley Center. You can take the Soutbound Blue Trolley into downtown. Please know that sometimes the connection times can be very tight.

To reach the Convention Center and the Gaslamp District, you can either continue on the Blue Line and walk from the Petco Ballpark to the Convention Center and the Gaslamp District, or you can transfer to the Orange Line at One America Plaza, and walk directly into the entrance for either the Convention Center or the Gaslamp.

BEACHES
Ocean Beach and the Ocean Beach Pier are just steps away.
The Ocean Beach Pier is the second-longest pier on the West Coast, measuring 1,971 feet. The pier includes a restaurant, bait shop and fishing.

RESTAURANTS and PUBS
Bo Beau Kitchen & Bar – is the latest fine French Dining venue in Ocean Beach. Owned by the Cohn Restaurant Group, Bo Beau's has a knowledgeable staff, a nice menu and a wonderful ambiance. Reservations are usually required on weekends.

3rd Corner is actually just around the corner. Have dinner or a glass of wine or even better, buy a bottle of wine to bring back to the Lotus Cottages and relax on one of the decks.

Lucy's Tavern is about two blocks away at the corner of Voltaire and Bacon. This is a local’s bar so if you’re looking to blend in anytime of the day or night, check out Lucy’s.

Downtown Ocean Beach is lots of fun and is about a 10 minute walk from the Lotus Cottages. Here you will meet cool people (mostly locals) and no attitude.

The South Beach Grill is one of the best places to hang out in downtown OB and was just awarded a special commendation by Bon Appetite magazine for their fish tacos.

Newport Avenue, OB’s main street, hosts a number of bars, restaurants and antique shops.
